I think it is very important for us to protect and maintain the languages of older cultures, because as Phil Borges said in his video, their mean a part of us, our history and our growth as a society. I think most of the knowledge we have came from that cultures, because they are ancient and also represent another ways to explain and see the situations that happens in our environment day by day. We should have cultural diversity, it makes our planet interesting, and it would be unfair for the other cultures to change all their knowledge a believes as a group. The linguist Claude Hagege said, "what me lose is essentially an enormous cultural heritage, the way of expressing the relationship with nature, with the worl, between themselves in the framework of their families, their kin people [sic]. " I thinks he is right especially because it is sad that a lot of people don't care about this, and don' t realize what we're losing.
